Brand design in Vigo: a look people recognise at a glance.
Logo, colours, typefaces and templates so your business looks the same on the door, on the menu and on Instagram. Made for bars, cafés, shops and small businesses in Vigo.
A brand is more than a logo.
Logo design, visual identity and brand guidelines: what many call branding, made to fit a small business.
Logo and versions
The main logo and its variants: horizontal, symbol only, white and black. Legible on a big sign and on a tiny profile picture.
Colours and typefaces
A short palette with its codes and two typefaces that work together, so everything you or a printer make comes out the same.
A simple brand guide
A few pages on the dos and don’ts: spacing, minimum sizes, backgrounds and examples. No hundred-page manuals.
In your venue
Menu, posters, signage, cups, napkins, cards or uniforms: whatever your business really uses, ready to print.
Social media templates
Posts, stories and covers for Instagram and Facebook in the same style. You edit them in minutes and it all looks like one place.
Files for everything
SVG, PDF and PNG ready for the printer, the web and your phone. Everything is in your name and yours for good.
Branding for bars, cafés, restaurants and shops
A brand that grows without losing its face.
When a business launches a new line, a new service, a season or a second location, there’s no need to start from scratch. Changing everything at once isn’t wise either: it confuses the people who already know you.
- Sub-brands born from the main one: same symbol or lettering, different tone.
- Variations for a new line or service, with a colour of their own.
- Seasonal editions that are recognisable without causing confusion.
- A new location with its own personality and the same surname.
Every piece comes from the same system: palette, typeface, symbol and templates.
Real work, password protected.
Out of respect for my clients, real work can only be seen with a password. If you’d like to see it, ask me on WhatsApp or through the contact page.
First I listen; then I draw.
Questionnaire
A simple brief about your business, your customers and how you want to be seen. Fill it in at your own pace, no long meetings.
Proposals
I show you two or three directions applied to real things in your venue: the door, the menu, a post.
Refinements
You pick one and we fine-tune it together: colours, lettering, details. You decide at every step.
Delivery
SVG, PDF and PNG files, a usage guide and ready-made templates. And if you like, I help you roll it out on your website and social media.
Frequently asked questions about brand design
-
I already have a logo. Do I have to bin it?
No. Often it just needs tidying up: cleaning it, fixing the colours and typefaces, and using it the same way everywhere. If what you have works and your customers recognise it, we keep it and build on it.
-
What is the difference between a logo, a visual identity and branding?
The logo is the symbol or the drawn name. The visual identity is the whole system: logo, colour palette, typefaces and how they are used. Branding goes one step further: what people feel and say about your business. I work on the first two with the third in mind.
-
What goes into brand guidelines?
The logo versions, the colours and their codes, the typefaces, minimum sizes and clear space, which backgrounds work, and examples on the menu, the sign or social media. For a small business it fits in a few pages.
-
What is a sub-brand?
It is a variation of your brand for another line, another service, a season or a new location. The tone or a colour changes, but it is clearly the same place, so you keep the customers you already have.
-
Which files do I get?
Your logo in SVG, PDF and PNG (colour, white and black), the palette with its codes, the typefaces, a short usage guide and social media templates ready to edit. It is all yours.
-
Can I just use a free logo maker like Canva?
To get by, yes. The catch is that lots of people use the same templates, you don’t get a full system (colours, typefaces, versions) and sometimes not even files good enough to print a sign. If your venue relies on being recognised, a brand made for you is worth it.
-
Do you only work with bars and restaurants?
No. Hospitality is where a good brand shows most, but I do brand design for shops, professionals, schools and small businesses in Vigo and across Galicia.
-
How long does it take?
It depends on what you need, but a brand for a small venue is usually ready within a few weeks of you sending back the questionnaire. You get firm dates before we start.
-
How much does a logo cost?
It depends on what’s included: tidying up a logo you already have is not the same as building a full visual identity with guidelines, sub-brands and templates. I give you a written, tailored quote once I have read the questionnaire.
A brand shines when people see it.
Shall we give your business a face?
Tell me what you do and what you want to get across. I’ll send you the questionnaire and, with your answers, tell you where I’d start.
