He makes the music. I take care of everything else.

A producer and mix engineer based in the United States. Since 2022 I’ve looked after everything digital in his career: four websites, his own shop that is already selling, his music theory book in print and in English, album covers and videos.

The challenge

His time belongs in the studio, not wrestling with plugins, servers or platforms that take a cut of every sale. He needed one person who understood his work and would handle everything else, nine hours apart.

What we did

  • Four websites: his personal site, his band’s, his company’s and an audio library.
  • A custom shop and learning area, with no WordPress: card payments, download links that expire and a private area for each student. Video courses are next.
  • His music theory book: layout, music examples and illustrations, on sale on his website, in print on Amazon and translated into English.
  • Design and video: album covers and videos for his Dolby Atmos mixes.
  • Maintenance: the band’s website moved from WordPress to a faster, more secure static site, and the domains and email to a clean, well-documented setup.

Mock-up with sample data.

The result

4websites for the same client, looked after by one person.
2022the year we started. Since then, every new project has come through me.
258machine-translation errors in the book’s illustrations fixed by hand before publishing it in English.
Already sellingHis own shop has taken payments and delivered on its own since July 2026: the sales and the customer data are his.

If you’re a musician, producer or creator and the digital side eats into your time, tell me about it. I’ll be honest about what I’d do and what I wouldn’t.
